Chapal Mehra is an independent advocate, public health specialist, and commentator. As Director, he currently leads the organization, working on issues of health, development, and human rights.

Chapal has worked with the media and civil society to advocate on issues of increased resources for health, particularly TB and HIV, addressing patient and civil society demands, improving access to early diagnosis and appropriate treatment, and providing economic and social support to patients and their families. He is also an independent commentator and writes for The Hindu, Huffington Post, and Indian Express. As Director, Pi Consulting, Chapal leads the work of the organization.
